Modpack Refresh Now Available
The much anticipated modpack refresh is now available for download on the repository! The result of a months work, the modpack refresh is aimed at replacing many of our obsolete or poorly maintained mods with newer actively developed mods from the Arma community, that will give us a more maintainable platform moving forward. This is a significant update with a large number of changes and as such it will be a large download (approximately 20-25GB). Please read on for details and instructions...
To get started downloading the update, simply connect to the Black Watch mod repository using the usual details and initialize the update process. Be advised that the update process will not remove the @BWI_AIA folder, as it is no longer being tracked by the repository - please delete this folder manually and remove it from Arma3Sync. Also ensure that the @BWI_CUPTP folder is selected.
One known issue with the new modpack is that ALiVE missions are currently non-functional. This is due to the latest ALiVE being incompatible with the latest CBA. The ALiVE team are working on an update, which we will push as soon as it is available.
Members should also be advised that with this update we have enabled key checks on the server, to ensure that members are only using mods we can support and vouch for. While this will impact members who have been using pure clientside mods, we are now accepting suggestions for inclusion of such mods as optional extras. Simply post your suggestions in the forums!
Details of the changes can be found in the Modpack and Template changelogs, or on our Github.
