Modpack Update Q3

After some hard work and a large amount of time spent on the server testing stuff as well as making sure everything works, your Black Watch Team is proud to present a release of another modpack update. It has been some time since the last update and after the last Arma 3 Patch 1.48, many members of Black Watch International were starting to experience performance loss (thanks Bohemia Interactive!). Besides that, many of the current mods are outdated so those are the main reasons we are releasing the update now.

The new modset will go live on the server on Monday 27th July, ready for training and the op. Until then please continue to use your existing modset.

 

ACE3

After the AGM Team left their project to work on something better in ACE-3, it was already known that sooner or later we will have to switch over as well. This is the flagship mod of the update, turning around our current gameplay by 180°, remaking completely the interaction menus, medical system and improving many other things to make our sessions even more enjoyable.

 

USAF Pack

The United States Air Force Pack is a mod which many of you will be happy to try out. Mainly because of the new C-130s and the popular AC-130 "Gunship". Of course that is not all this pack provides. We urge you to try out and discover for yourselves what this mod has to offer besides the fresh C-130s. High caliber fun guaranteed.

Those are the most visible changes.  Behind the scenes we were working on improving performance by getting rid of some mods we felt were to old and were causing to many issues. We deleted some of the vehicle mods which are already provided by RHS and because we now have the USAF addon, we also deleted the Jets like F-18 orAV-8B Harrier, which to be honest were not used at all. Besides that we also got rid of JSRS: Dragonfyre sound modification, because it is no longer MP Compatible and only works for 50% of the content, but we will keep the server keys for this addon and if you feel like its enough for you - you are free to use it, but you have to update it on your own.
